“ Very nice Italian restaurant! Hidden Gem! Found this place after a day at sea world. We enjoyed 2 thin crust delicious wood fire pizza’s and cannoli. The cannoli were not my favorite because the shells were too hard, but I think that is how they are supposed to be. Should have got the tiramisu! Wish we lived here so we could try more on their big menu. ”
“ Finally, a Neapolitan pizza in San Diego that deserves to be called that way! This the best pizza I have ever had in San Diego. The service and the atmosphere are great too, and the location is perfect if you want to stay away from the crowd and from overpriced parking. As an Italian, I highly recommend this place! ”
“ Absolutely incredible, delicious, VERY authentically Italian food. Total hidden gem in the area. Cannot recommend enough -- go have a meal now (it opened recently) before this place totally blows up and is packed every night. Menu is awesome -- tons of different options for Neapolitan-style pizzas with thin dough, just like pizza in Naples, as well as a huge menu of awesome pastas, including separate sections for gnocchi and raviolis. Also had super tasty specials, we ate this potato, basil, and octopus appetizer that was perfectly cooked. Can't wait to go back to keep working my way through some more of their dishes. ”
“ Delicious food. Pizza is always tasty and made perfectly. Lobster ravioli was very good. Creme brulle was brought out flaming. Beautiful presentation. Red sangria was perfect with the meal. ”
“ Ignore the 1 star review below. Completely wrong. My wife and i have been coming here since they opened and were married in Italy. This is by far the best, most authentic pizza in San Diego. Better than buona forchetta and siamo napoli. The Ingredients are light, simple and fresh. You can eat a big meal and you don’t feel stuffed and heavy, but nourished. The staff is particularly fantastic. They know every dish perfectly and can pair wine well. The owner is from capri Italy and it shows! Perfetto! ”
“ Appetizer and desert were incredible, fish special was not my favorite, but overall it was an awesome experience. Small and cozy. The only thing totally off place was fast-food quality of paper napkins. ”
“ This place is absolutely incredible. 10/10. This will be my go-to spot for Italian from now on and I cannot wait to bring more of my friends and family! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food came out very fresh and every dish was delicious! I had the Carnivora Pizza and I felt like I was back in Napoli . Then our group tried the tiramisu, the cannoli and pistacchio ricotta - all fantastic. They also brought out a dessert with a birthday candle for my wife’s birthday, a nice touch. ”
“ A hidden gem! This is my new favorite pizza place. I'm a bit of a pizza nerd, having made over 100 pizzas in my backyard with a massive homemade pizza oven after watching hours of Vito's YouTube videos. With that said, I've never had pizza with better dough than at this restaurant. But the real cherry on top was the staff. The service was simply excellent, and after dinner we had a wonderful and educational chat with the pizzaiolo. They welcomed us in like family. I look forward to my future visits! ”
